WHO WE ARE

We are a French–Ugandan couple guided by deep spiritual values and a shared belief that every child deserves a safe, happy and fulfilling childhood.

Inspired by love and compassion, we strive to extend our support to vulnerable children and struggling families, helping nurture brighter, thriving minds for the future.
The association Open Hearts is registered in France under the “1901 Law”, that draws the frame for non profit organisations.

Our vision is to reach struggling, sick, and needy children across Africa — beginning with remote communities in Uganda — by providing a nurturing and stimulating environment where every child can thrive.

We believe this is only possible through fostering loving and caring relationships that empower children to grow, learn, and live with dignity.

Our mission is to uplift the forgotten — orphans, vulnerable children, the elderly, the sick, and the poor — by addressing their daily needs and promoting education through community-based initiatives.

At the heart of our mission are the principles that guide every action we take:

Compassion for all life – We care deeply for every person and living being, recognizing the shared dignity of all.

Kindness – We choose empathy and respect in every interaction, creating a culture of care and understanding.

Generosity – We give selflessly of our time, energy, and resources to uplift those in need.

Honesty and Integrity – We remain transparent, truthful, and accountable in all we do, building trust within the communities we serve.

Sustainability – we design projects that create lasting benefits for communities and minimize harm to the environment
